Our Perception

Our perception on things are different. My perception and how i see things might be different then yours. You might watch a girls varsity basketball game and say "They suck, why am i watching this!" but i might look at it and say they're pretty good. Why would i say this? I have experience of playing with an organized basketball team, therefore, i would notice things you wouldn't, for example; i might watch and say they're fundamentally sound. My option is base on my perception, i watch, i organized, and i recognize what was going on the court.

Axons & Dendrite

The way we communicate is through talking to one another, the way we translate information is taking neurons and sending our selves messages. This animation will show what goes on in our minds. We also have other functions that this animation, reuptake is when you take preserve neurons and take the energy from the end of the cell. It blew my mind knowing that when i was talking to my teacher, that my axons and dendrites were working with one another.

A study on cognitive dissonance

Why do you think people change their attitude when they're around socially accepted people?
A way simple way to answer this question would be to summarize it as cognitive dissonance. This is the theory that your actions don't match your attitude.

A few example's will show you why such things happen.
"I am going on a diet and staying away from fat foods."
"Behavior: Eats a doughnut later that night.(Fat food)"

"I don't want to go to the YMCA later, a lot of popular kids will be there!"
"Behavior : Goes just to be socially accepted."

People sometimes feel cognitive dissonance, they feel it when they don't feel accepted.

Study on personality

Hey my name is Ke'antae Wilkie, I'm going to do research on the study of the personality.

My main purpose is to find out why do people conform too a groups opinion. Why people easily influenced by popular people.

My goal is find out why do we stress so much about being approved or disapproved ( Normative influence ) the way I'm going to accomplish this goal is to question people. Ask them whats so important about being accepted.

Why people conform.

People conform because they're afraid of disapproval. Friends or associates follow people for reasons of acceptance. I feel like you shouldn't follow people for any reason, you should be yourself, conformity is the reason why our generation is the way it is today. If we were to be ourselves we would be a lot better off in life.
